Homerville, Ohio KOA

June 30, 2014

We are now at the Homerville KOA. Judy is not very happy with the cell or Wi-Fi. I’ve been told to do a better of choosing campgrounds in the future. What a difference in roads………… much smoother and gas is $3.60 a gallon. Judy bought some brats for supper tonight. Then it’s smores for a snack. I mentioned to Judy that we need to purchase a golf cart. Every campground has people driving around with them. Guess what she told me? Not nice!

Anyways it’s the final run to Rineyville, Kentucky tomorrow.

Chautauqua Lake

June 29, 2014

We left Riverside RV Park this morning heading towards Kentucky. We decided to stop for well-deserved rest at Chautauqua Lake KOA near Dewittville, New York. Right now there is a hellacious thunder storm passing through. Tomorrow on the road to Hommerville, Ohio KOA. The sooner we leave New York’s roads behind the better. Anyone traveling interstate 86 around Salamanca beware of road construction, detours and delays.

We have our camper {hereafter called home} parked at the Susquehanna Riverside RV Park in Bainbridge, NY. After one night in Bedford Creek Campground in Sackets Harbor, a emergency phone call forced us to return. We are driving to Ghent to see family. Unfortunately we are going to miss RJ’s wedding. Best wishes to RJ and Hartley.

First time

This is our first time trying to start a blog for our travels. Right now we are in the Unadilla-Oneonta Koa campground. Sunday we head to Bedford creek campground near Sackets Harbor for a week. We have a nephew getting married on the 28th of June. Travis and Laurie with the grandkids will be coming on Thursday. Friday we plan on visiting Bolt Castle. Haven’t been there in years.
